Warmflow welcomes increased heat pump funding as demand for low-carbon heating rises
Warmflow has welcomed the Government's decision to increase Boiler Upgrade Scheme (BUS) funding for eligible heat pump installations in England and Wales from £7,500 to £9,000, saying the move will help make renewable heating a more accessible option for more homeowners.
The increase in funding represents another positive step in encouraging the adoption of low-carbon heating technologies, particularly for off-gas-grid properties where reducing the upfront cost of installation can make a significant difference to homeowners considering the switch.
Commenting on the announcement, Brian Beattie, Director of GB Sales & Marketing, said: "It's encouraging to see more support being made available for heat pumps. The increased funding will make renewable heating a more realistic option for more homeowners. As a manufacturer of both heat pumps and HVO-compatible boilers, we're focused on giving installers the products and support they need to deliver the right solution for each customer."
As a manufacturer of both HVO-compatible liquid fuel boilers and air source heat pumps, Warmflow believes homeowners should have access to heating technologies that reflect the needs of their property, lifestyle and budget.
The company's Agentis range of liquid fuel boilers is approved for use with Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO), offering a renewable fuel option for homes where a heat pump may not be the most suitable solution. Alongside this, Warmflow's Zeno air source heat pump range has been designed to deliver an efficient, user-friendly renewable heating solution for customers looking to benefit from the Boiler Upgrade Scheme.
Developed with both installers and homeowners in mind, every Zeno heat pump features built-in 4G connectivity, allowing users to monitor and control their heating remotely through a dedicated app. Finished in anthracite grey, the units have been designed to complement a wide range of property styles while delivering reliable year-round performance.
Warmflow also supports installers throughout the process with a free specification service, together with assisted set-up, helping to ensure every installation is correctly specified and performs as intended from day one. The service is designed to give installers added confidence while helping homeowners achieve the best possible performance from their heating system.
